Texte du vendeur :
Here I a selling a very rare Wormar Trojan horizontal live steam engine from 1925. The engine was originally marketed by Warboys and Smart of Luton and made by Geoffrey Bowman Jenkins in conjunction with Bernard Smart. The engine comes with an original poor condition box bottom BUT no lid. Also comes with an original 4 page instruction leaflet dated November 1925. The engine reasonable condition see photographs but missing burner otherwise complete. This is the first engine made by Geoffrey Bowman Jenkins [Bowman] with the correct hole spacing in the base for use with Meccano items. Colin Laker in his excellent well researched book, “Bowman Steam Toys and Pond Yachts” Volume 1, states that there are only 5 known to exist of this very rare engine. The engine measures 3.5 inches high and is on a base of 5 inches square.
